The general line that we hear is that since our gun confiscation occurred following the Port Arthur Massacre, there have been zero mass shootings.
It’s amazing that even though the number of people killed in mass shootings is so unbelievably tiny compared to the number of victims of violent crime, this is still used by anti-gun heads as their main argument for how Australia apparently has the perfect model for successful gun control.
Not only is this not true, but the number of assaults, rapes, armed robberies and kidnappings is so huge that it doesn’t even compare with the amount of deaths from mass shootings.
Their arguments and statistics do not hold up to the slightest of scrutiny.
