In a video made by United Patriot’s Front Leader, Blair Cottrell announces that he and two other UPF members have been charged with 4 different criminal offences by Victorian state police which include ‘offending’ Muslims online and pouring red dye outside the City of Greater Bendigo council chambers.
The charges were laid on the UPF members for a video they made in 2015 where they staged a mock beheading on a dummy made of pillows while chanting ‘Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar’.
The purpose of the video was to protest plans for a mosque to be built in Bendigo Town centre, but Blair filmed this video outside the Great Bendigo Council building to protest the Bendigo Mayor and council members’ plan to ridiucle and silence protesters.
The rally that United Patriot’s Front co-ordinated attracted thousands of people and demonstrated the people of Bendigo’s rejection of Islamic immigration into their town.
Blair’s Paul Joseph Watson-style video excellently described the hypocrisy and double standard of the Victorian state police, the mainstream media and left-wing politicians when it comes to the treatment that each side of the argument receives when it comes to political protest.
When Blair pours red dye on the pavement outside Bendigo’s city council building he receives a criminal charge because it offends Muslims, but dozens of left-wing protesters pour red dye into the fountain outside parliament house in Canberra and they receive hugs from Green party senators and positive media coverage on every mainstream outlet.
Hypocrisy at its finest.
Blair posted a video on Facebook this morning giving an update on the situation that you can watch here. Blair’s original video announcing the charges being placed on UPF members is included below.
