It seems 7 News has picked up the baton in pushing the dishonest narrative that a leader of the alt right and ‘white supremacist thug’ attacked a poor defenceless woman during a clash between pro and anti Trump supporters.

Where to start on this nonsense. First of all, this was a Free Speech rally organised by Trump supporters which took place at Martin Luther King Civic Centre, about two blocks away from the University campus of Berkeley, California.

Luke Rudkowski of Wearechange.org was on the ground filming and reporting the event where he said violent thugs in black masks from the group ANTIFA used fireworks and explosives and threw bricks at Trump supporters when they crashed the event.

As Breitbart reports, one of the 250 police officers who were deployed to the scene said there were nine people injured, six taken to hospital and one stabbing victim.

AJ Allegra, 31, told the New York Times he came to Berkeley to help defend Trump supporters and was surrounded by a dozen protesters in black masks who he said attacked him with sticks and pepper spray.

Breitbart also reports that The Chronicle reported that several liberal groups long-planned to disrupt the pro-Trump rally with the intent to shut it down.

Does this sound like evil white supremacist Trump supporters running around beating up women?

It’s also interesting that Luke Rudkowski repeatedly states the police did absolutely nothing to stop the ANTIFA thugs from attacking people at the rally.

This does not come as a surprise to the people and students of Berkeley University, where not long ago ANTIFA instigated riots when Milo Yiannopoulous was scheduled to speak.
